Rookies in 2015 that are making the cut

The biggest help for the rookies is veteran counterparts that help them in the transition. According to 2015 rookie, Demi Runas, she enjoyed most with people in the first year on the LPGA Tour. In the beginning, Runas was worried that she doesn’t have anybody to ask for an advice or any kind of help, but it wasn’t true. Many veterans in the LPGA are very helpful and they were giving advice and were always ready to help her.

The transition for Runas wasn’t very easy. She came from her successful run on the Symetra Tour and then she played her way to the LPGA Tour with a top-10 finishes on the Volvik Race for the Card Money List. This was last season, when she also won 3 runner-up finishes and 3 more top-10. Runas had a very successful college career at UC Davis. She was Big West Player of the Year three times. Although, Runas was successful, she must continue with this. She made the cut in just 2 out of 8 events. Both of them are close to her home in Southern California. They are Kia Classic and JTBC Founders Cup.

Cheyenne Woods, had her best finish this season, at the JTBC Founders Cup in Phoenix. She finished T-24. On the other side, she made cuts in 4 events of 7 available. Lydia Ko was the only player who made the cut in all events. On average, 2014 rookie class made 46% cuts. In 2015, 40% of the rookie class made cuts in the first 11 events. Ha Na Jang and Hyo Joo Kim are the only golfers who made the cut in all 8 events.
