According to fans across the planet, the 2015 LPGA Tour rookies are the most interesting. Sei Young Kim is the most popular on the scene. She is a 2 time winner with 4 top-6 finishes. At this moment, she is the best in Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year standings. This means that she is ahead Hyo Joo Kim. Hyo Joo Kim won the JTBC Founders Cup. Minjee Lee is 3rd on the rookie list. You already know that she won the Kingsmill Championship Presented by JTBC.
As you can see, rookies are the best in this season. We can expect to see the same success during the second half of the season. Sei Young finished as runner-up in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and she finished T-4 at the ANA Inspiration. You may remember that the last rookie, who won a major was Anna Nordqvist. In 2009, she won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
Michelle Wie, won her first major championship in 2014. She won the U.S. Women’s Open. During this season, she wasn’t very successful. She had an injury and her plans failed. But, in the second part of the season, she will defend her title at the Lancaster Country Club.
