US defeats Japan in Women's World Cup, 2015

Women’s World Cup, 2015 has been the most incredible sports event in the history of USA. Not only did the team won the championship, reclaiming their victory, but they also won the championship for the third time. This was historic on its own because US is the only nation to be first to win the championship for three times. 

USA defeated Japan with a massive score of 5-2 and the game’s start was the game changer. The US team captain, Carli Lloyd even made her 13 minute hat-trick. She was definitely a big player who knew how to manage the team and the course of the match. The first half of the match witnessed a rather imbalanced pace. However, the second period was pretty much balanced as the team evened the match. 

The US team returned to country on Monday and the entire nation was cheering for the squad. The final match was also significant because there was a massive crowd of 25.4 million that broke the record of television history.
